As half of the school year has already arrived and left, I have much to share! Following my first six months of teaching, I feel well prepared, eager and happy to begin this blogging journey! I am fortunate enough to have a small classroom size of fifteen first graders, which truly assists in providing my students the necessary guided support and independence that they yearn. Reading, writing, and spelling through phonics are my FAVORITE things to teach. I find join in exposing my students to an open-ended, yet involved language arts curriculum that allows for self-gradification and many teaching points. Happy blogging everyone!
