That's a Steal Thursday at Ollie's!

In my area, we have a few (not enough) "cheap-o" stores like Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I went here to build my classroom library before I became an official classroom teacher, and I still can't help myself!

This shows just a smidgen of what is really offered in the children's book section... many books that I already bought through Scholastic were here in hardback form. Keep in mind that this is a bargain outlet and much like trips to TJ Maxx... you have to dig for treasure! In the end though, it is all worth it. (:

Here are my 4 paperback finds! I purchased Froggy's Day with Dad by Jonathan London, The Night Before Father's Day by Natasha Wing, The Night Before Summer Vacation by Natasha Wing, and I am especially thrilled about The Night Before First Grade also by Natasha Wing! Compared to the prices I linked to Amazon... I saved $11.00 and only paid $5.50!!!

These are my hardcover treasures! I bought Me and My Dad! by Alison Ritchie, Huck Runs Amuck! by Sean Taylor (LOVE me some illustrations by Peter Reynolds), The Amazing Bumblebee Boy by Jacky Davis, and The Hueys in The New Sweater by Oliver Jeffers. I saved a total of $33.50 and only paid $15.00 for these books!
